Membership in the Club is open to photographers of all skill levels. Whether you're a beginner, enthusiast, or professional photographer, all are welcome to join and participate in our events and activities.

Age Requirement:

You must be at least 18 years old to participate in any competition or event. For minors, participation is allowed with the consent of a parent or guardian.

Membership Options:

We are offering one membership for smart phone photographs and professional photographers. it provides access to different benefits, which are detailed on the "Membership" page of our website.

Payment for Membership:

Memberships require payment, and the fees associated with them are outlined on the "Membership" page. Payment for membership is non-refundable.

Eligible Devices:

Entries for exhibitions and competitions can be submitted via any device, including smartphones, DSLR cameras, and mirrorless cameras. We encourage creativity regardless of the equipment used.

Submission Guidelines:

When submitting entries for exhibitions or competitions, you must adhere to the submission guidelines specified on the event page. All submissions should be original works created by you and comply with the Club's guidelines regarding image resolution, file format, and submission deadlines.

Entry Fees:

Some events may require entry fees, which will be clearly stated on the event page. Entry fees are typically non-refundable unless otherwise stated.

Copyright Ownership:

You retain full copyright to all images submitted. By submitting your images, you grant Candid Photography Canada INC a non-exclusive, royalty-free license to use, display, and promote your images for the purpose of showcasing the event or competition (this includes online and offline use, exhibitions, and marketing materials).

Judging Criteria:

Submissions will be judged based on creativity, composition, technical execution, and overall impact. The judging process is fair, impartial, and anonymous. The board of judges will be experienced individuals chosen for their unbiasedness. And their decision will be the final judgment.

Prizes:

Winners of competitions will receive internationally accepted certificates and additional prizes as described on the event page. Prizes may vary by event and may include cash, equipment, professional development resources, or the opportunity to have your work featured in galleries.

Prize Claims:

Winners will be notified via email or phone. If a winner does not respond within a reasonable time (usually 7 days), the prize may be forfeited and awarded to an alternate.

Respectful Behavior :

Members are expected to conduct themselves with respect and professionalism in all Club-related activities, including events, workshops, competitions, and online interactions.

Prohibited Content :

You may not submit any content that violates the rights of others, including copyright infringement or harmful, defamatory, or offensive materials. Any violation of this code will result in disqualification from events and potential revocation of membership.

Harassment and Discrimination:

Discrimination or harassment of any kind will not be tolerated. All members are expected to create a supportive and inclusive community.

Limitation of Liability:

Candid Photography Canada INC is not liable for any loss, damage, or injury caused by your participation in Club activities, including events, exhibitions, or competitions. You participate at your own risk.

Lost or Damaged Submissions:

While we take care to protect submitted images, we are not responsible for any technical issues that may cause loss or damage to your submissions. It is recommended that you keep a backup of your work.

Event Cancellations:

In the event of unavoidable cancellations, such as technical difficulties or force majeure events, Candid Photography Canada will do its best to notify participants promptly and provide a refund or reschedule the event where applicable.

Personal Information:

By joining the Club or participating in our events, you consent to the collection and use of your personal information in accordance with our Privacy Policy.

Use of Photos:

By submitting photos, you grant Candid Photography Canada INC permission to use your images for promotional purposes, including online displays, event posters, and marketing materials, unless you specifically opt-out.

Termination of Membership:

Candid Photography Canada INC reserves the right to terminate your membership if you violate any of the terms and conditions, engage in inappropriate conduct, or fail to comply with event rules.

Suspension:

We may suspend your access to certain features or events if we believe your conduct is harmful to the Club or other members.

Modifications :

Candid Photography Canada INC reserves the right to modify these Terms and Conditions at any time. Any changes will be posted on this page, and the updated version will include the date of the last revision. Your continued participation in the Club after any changes constitutes your acceptance of the modified terms.
